Right on! The misconception/stereotype that the feminist group is only
filled with angry, self-entitled women is way too prevalent in society

In a psychological/physiological sense, I think the case of “guy = player”
vs. “girl = badnames” is that in the distant past, men, in a reproductive
sense, could (and can) “sow their seed” anywhere and everywhere to ensure
survival of his genes as much as he could. So he was heralded as someone
who would ensure his genes would be more likely carried on.
Women needed to be more “choosy” because they have numbered eggs,
(relatively) small window of peak conception, only get one shot a month,
sought traits they deemed worthy to carry on in another generation (for
example choosing the strongest mate, like back in the caveman days,) and
carrying/having a baby is a huge commitment in both body and time. Women
who slept around were seen as more reckless in their potential mate choices
and ignoring times of peak conception; a main goal of the PAST.
…The long and short of it is NOWADAYS, neither gender needs to ensure
survival of their race, so the age-old idea of players and badnames
(assuming we’re not talking about cheating or the like) sorely needs to be
    expunged! :) very interesting question.

They keep saying maybe women are better and women are superior that is not
what feminism is. Feminism is equality of the sexes. It’s not just women
who support it and that shouldn’t be implied. It’s not all about women gays
are a big deal to feminist too. They deserve the rights straight people
have too like marriage. They are people and feminism says all should be

This video is generally encouraging. Pretty sound opinions and energy.
However, do the couple really know the objective of the message this video
    is trying to give???

    1. Not taking valentine’s day and anniversaries as a big deal, DOES NOT
make them feminists. It just means you don’t care enough about it. It is a
bad point to bring up because does not add any value to the message. Who
said that valentine’s day was a single sex centred thing? Feminism doesn’t
mean disregard or negligence. In fact it means celebrating equality, if you
are really supporting of both sexes, then shouldn’t you be celebrating each
other as equals for the amount of effort you both put into the relationship
    2. The video speakers then share their opinions and views and basically
building up to a great energy sending all the positivity until they
appeared again at 3:10. At 1:01, lady says it is okay to play each role,
then at 3:10 she proudly claims that she offers to pay ‘just to be nice’.
Do you even know how many young impressionable girls are watching this
video to look for inspiration? The guy then went ahead to say that he does
“anything to impress her”, and that he won’t even let her know when he only

Feminism is not just for women to receive equality. That a big
misunderstanding. Feminism is the equality of two gender meaning that both
gender should not either feel inferior nor superior to each other And yes
guy are affected too, but girls have it worse than guys. Guys are affected
by patriarchy, they are raise to act strong, dominant “manly” and be
superior than a women. If not. They are disrespected. By being called
weakling sissy and other disrespectful names.

Sorry but I got to say this is rather misleading. Feminism is not about
just women rights, but gender equality! Which goes both ways, men and
women. It doesn’t mean that women are better than men, but women equal as
men. As well as men being able to not have certain standards to meet.

Please please please, when doing videos like those make sure you read the
    definition of the word feminism.
