“Peace + Love” wonderful, Michelle, instead of actually realizing that
Western cultures can take whatever they want from my own culture and it’s
cute, but when I truly express something that has deep cultural and
religious meaning, I’m laughed at, I’m shocked you’re just choosing to take
the white girl hippy method and pretend like you’re spreading so much
    “peace and love.”

This is the first time I’ve actually seen a huge debate on one of
Michelle’s videos.. the way people are responding (with the intention to
get their points across about the topic) is kind of heart breaking, because
you guys are all being negative towards her. And if you analyze her
comments, she is still being loving and caring towards you all even after
all the name-calling you did. She’s still learning about the world,
obviously. Take the time to educate her instead of offending or bringing
    her down, please.

Please don’t hurt such a person.. Like she said, Love + Peace to you all. :)

Cultural appropriation is widely criticized concept anyway. I, personally,
see nothing wrong if it was done out of pure admiration (in this case the
aesthetics of it) with no malicious intent towards the culture being
    imitated.
Nonetheless I love these collab-y videos with the awesome editing :D

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs, but please refrain
from attacking others. I want this channel to be a safe place where we can
all discuss (even debate) without having to resort to name calling and
bullying. Love + Peace to all of you :)

This is culture appreciation and admiration. people shouldn’t get offended
at this but embrace it! learning and sharing cultures is a part of being
    human! I think it’s beautiful

Christen’s forehead gem was not a bindi. It represented the adornment of
the third eye (hence why I’m also wearing third eye sunglasses) If I were
recreating an Indian bridal look, I would totally use a bindi and talk
about the history behind it. I’ve done this with the Dia de los Muertos
look and many others. Culture is meant be shared and inspire. Calling this
cultural appropriation means you are labeling our form of self expression.
If this video offended you, I apologize, however just know that none of us
had the intention to offend. We only to inspire all of you to express
yourself by unleashing your creativity. Love + Peace to all of you.

I apologize if I offended anyone here by mistakenly appropriating your
culture. It was not my intention. I love sharing things that inspire me. I
will be more careful next time :) Peace + Love ∞

I guess I’m ophiuchus. I remeber a while ago when that was a big thing and
people didn’t believe it and I didn’t want to change my symbol. Now that
I’m older I see how beautiful the meaning is and I’m proud to call my self
    and ophiuchus!
